Moving to WordPress!

Hello all!

I'm currently in one of those life altering stages where one chapter comes to a close and another begins. Therefore, while I'm in the process of changing everything I've come to know and love, I felt it would be a good time to end my time here at blogger and try something new. Therefore, as the title of the post announces, I am moving to WordPress. My new site is titled "This Medical Life: A Journey in Healthcare," and can be found at http://ThisMedicalLife.wordpress.com I want to thank everyone who has followed this blog over the last four years, and I invite you all to follow me in my new chapter at my new site. There's not much there, but I plan to re-post some of my favorite entries from this blog with some added commentary on the side. I also want to try something new. I really enjoy writing short stories and fiction, so I would like to explore topics in healthcare and ethics in a fictional setting, creating scenarios and sharing stories that can serve as a platform for discussion and conversation. Given my track record, I know you're probably thinking, "I'll believe it when I see it," which is fair because I honestly cannot make any real promises. However, I can promise you that I will try.

My next post will be about how I had to make a tough decision. Sometimes decisions aren't as easy as yes or no, as they sometimes they carry the weight of thousands of pages. I'll be discussing this and more next time at my new site.

I hope to see you there!
-Alex
